Help & FAQ

How it works, whether it's safe, and what to do if Windows complains. No fluff.

How it works

How does it work, overall?

You create an account here, download our launcher and log into it once (it links your PC).

In the launcher you pick the mod, and it does everything: downloads, prepares and opens the game with the mod already in. You never type a key inside the game.

In-game, a menu opens on a hotkey (each mod tells you which — see the product FAQ). Close the game and the session ends.

Do I have to install anything by hand?

No. The launcher installs what's needed on its own and removes it when you close the game. Just keep the launcher open while you play.

Where do I download the launcher?

In your dashboard, after logging in and having an active access (subscription or key). The “Download launcher” button is there.

Is it safe? Is it a virus?

Is this a virus?

No. But heads up: your antivirus will probably complain. That's because a mod has to “inject” code into the game to work — behavior similar to malicious software, so the antivirus flags it as a precaution. It's a false positive.

Right below you'll find the step-by-step to safely allow it on Windows.

What do you store about me?

Only what's needed to log in and control access: your email and an identifier of your PC (to lock it to one machine at a time). The mod is delivered encrypted, per session. No game password, no extra personal data.

Antivirus & Windows blocking it

The antivirus (Windows Defender) deleted or blocked the launcher

It's a false positive. The safest fix is to add an exclusion just for the launcher folder — so you don't leave the rest of your PC unprotected:

Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions → Add an exclusion → Folder → pick the launcher folder.

Then run the launcher again. (You could turn Real-time protection off for a moment instead, but the exclusion is better — it doesn't expose the whole PC.)

It says “Windows protected your PC” (SmartScreen)

That's the “unknown publisher” warning, because our app isn't signed with a recognized certificate yet. Click “More info” and then “Run anyway”. That's it.

The browser blocked the download

Chrome and Edge sometimes flag uncommon downloads. In the downloads bar, choose “Keep” to finish the download.

The launcher won't open at all (new Windows 11 PC)

Some new PCs ship with “Smart App Control” turned on. It only runs signed/recognized apps and blocks everything else without asking. To allow it:

Windows Security → App & browser control → Smart App Control → Settings → Off.

Heads up: turning Smart App Control off is permanent — Windows only re-enables it by reinstalling the OS. Your call. This feature only exists on fresh Windows 11 installs; on older PCs it won't even show up.

Bans, games & versions

Will I get banned?

It depends on the game, and we'll be honest: there's no zero risk. In single-player games (just you), the risk is practically none. In games with an online/multiplayer part, there is a risk of punishment — use at your own risk. We don't promise “no bans”.

Does it work on the current game version?

Yes, until the game updates. When the game gets an update, the mod may break until we rebuild it. The launcher warns you when that happens — you can wait (we usually rebuild fast) or run at your own risk.

My game updated and the mod stopped

That's expected, and the launcher warns you. We update the mod (usually within ~24h). Just open the launcher again later — the update is automatic.

Account, PC & plans

Can I use it on more than one PC?

Each access locks to 1 PC at a time. Switched machines? You re-link it yourself in the dashboard — there's a waiting period between switches to prevent account sharing.

What are the plans?

Depends on the product: there's a 1-day and a 7-day pass (one-time payment) and a monthly subscription (auto-renews). Prices show on each mod's page.

It didn't work for me. Now what?

Talk to us on Discord (link in the footer) and we'll sort it out. Send the diagnostic too: in the launcher, press 2 and Enter to generate a report.

Still stuck?

Hit us up on Discord and we'll sort it out. Tip: in the launcher, press 2 and Enter — it builds a diagnostic report that helps support find the problem fast.
